Magic mushrooms may have a profound impact

First of all: we don't advocate the consumption of magic mushrooms! This page is provided "as is" and for informational purposes only. Taking magic mushrooms: DO-S

(1) Start with a low dose.
Never take more than 1 gram of dry magic mushrooms. Wait for 90 minutes. If you feel OK and want to intensify the experience you could take some more.
(2) Make sure there is nothing on your head for the next 24 hours.
No work, no school, no visiting of friends or family, no care for children or pets, JUST NO NOTHING!
(3) Make sure to trip in a relaxed environment.
Busy environments with lots of people and noise may cause an information overload. Choose an environment where you are not bothered by people not involved in the experience. Choose a calm, natural, preferably rural place, where you can enjoy the wonders of nature. Choose a place that is familiar to you, a place you know and where you feel save.
(4) Make sure to trip with people you know, like and trust.
Preferably there should be someone around that is not involved in the experience.
 

Taking magic mushrooms: DON'TS

(0) Never take magic mushrooms when you have second thoughts about taking them.
(1) Never take magic mushrooms when you have mental problems.
(2) Never take magic mushrooms when you are feeling depressed.
(3) Never take magic mushrooms when you have a tendency to paranoia.
(4) Never take magic mushrooms when you are pregnant.
(5) Never take magic mushrooms when you are alone.
(6) Never take magic mushrooms when you are using prescription drugs, especially when you are on psychoactive prescription drugs or MAO-inhibitors.
(7) Never drive on magic mushrooms.
(8) Do not use magic mushrooms as a party drug (like alcohol or XTC).

I had flash backs the two times I have done them. They get sort of weird as in you will see small things during the day out of the corner of your eye. Or you will feel borderline crazy at times; one experience I have had is I will be sitting smoking a cigarette or what ever and things will slow down and move slow but it last for a second. The good thing is though the flash backs are only consistent for up to two weeks at the most, after that everything goes back to normal.

2 to 5 people. Thai is stronger than cubensis. Everyone take his part (1/2 , 1/3, 1/4, 1/5) of the Cubensis and the Thai.

There is no real way to calm down. Going to a calm and quiet environment might help. Taking a benzodiapine (valium, seresta, ..) might have a calming effect.

I do not like salvia to much. did it 3/4 times. very weird. Immobilizing in high dose. Completely different than magic mushrooms.

Are Magic Mushrooms Legal?

The answer is: "it depends". The main psychoactive substance in magic mushrooms is psilocybin (psilocin). In most countries psilocybin and psilocin are illegal. However, in quite a lot of countries this does not imply that the Psilocybe mushrooms are illegal as well. Unprocessed, fresh magic mushrooms are legal in many countries. See also the notes under 'Drying, storing and the LAW' in the conserving section.

Fresh magic mushrooms LEGAL in Holland

Until November 4, 2002 fresh and dry magic mushrooms were legal in the Netherlands. From this date, however, the supreme court decided that dry magic mushrooms are illegal. Why? Because the are considered a psilocybin containing preparation (something processed by a human being). Happily, fresh magic mushrooms are still legal to possess and sell.

Do magic mushrooms show up in a drug test (1)?

After a week, no URINE or BLOOD based drug test will diagnose psilocybin. So, make sure that within a week after taking you are not tested for drugs. Psilocybin is (unlike cannabis/marijuana) not soluble in fat. So it will NOT stay in your body for a long time.

Do magic mushrooms show up in a drug test (2)?

Is it possible to trace the use of magic mushrooms in your hair? Until now I did not found literature about this issue. However, I THINK that even in hair-analyzing-tests psilocybin will not show up (unlike for example cocaine). The active dose of psilocybin is 5 to 20 milligrams. Virtually nobody uses magic mushrooms on a daily basis (unlike alcohol, cocaine, heroin) because it is not an addictive drug and the effects will go away after taking it every day. So, most people only get very little amounts of psilocybin in their system. Because of this the chances that it shows up in a 'hair-test' are very, very slim.

He came home one night high as a kite, and the next morning we had a discussion and he told me he had taken 4 grams of magic mushrooms. My question is how long do they stay in your system for? and if the police do a drug test on him will it show up that he has taken them?

The experience lasts about 4 - 6 hours. Within 24 hours completely baseline. Within 5 days no traces. After a week impossible to detect. Most drug test do not test for psilocybin. Don't worry 2 much! Hope this helps!
