Unpack your MES and lets get started!

NOTE:  NEW DESIGN CHAMBERS HAVE MANY HOLES THROUGHOUT!
MUCH BETTER DESIGN AND LESS CHANGE OF GREEN MOLD ACCURING!
Pics below do not show this new design but you are to follow the instructions as follows:

First take everything out of your Tower and clean it out with soap and water.

Lower the USD, bottom down, to the center/bottom of the MES tower.

Notice the 'notch' that you will be running the cord through.  Then connect it to the power unit as you see here.

Place the lid on gently until it is time to place water into the tower.

If you have one chamber then, of course, ignore the info. regarding the 2nd Chamber.  NOTE: Take a rubber band and some Reynolds Wrap and cover the unused outlet.  It is designed to expand at your leisure.

If you have one chamber then plug up the 2nd hole with some Saran wrap and a rubber band.  It will still be there if you decide to 'double up' your growing space.

If you have one chamber then, of course, ignore the info. regarding the 2nd Chamber.  Also the fitting that is connected to the chamber itself will be 'L' shaped.

Connect a small piece of tubing to the air pump.  Notice: a small piece of tubing may be INSIDE the another tubing..check for it closely.

Slide the smaller tubing over the 1" small tubing ...as you see here.

Take the other end of the clear tubing and connect them to the tower.

Here is what a two chambered MES set-up should look like!

Mix 1 part Peroxide to 10 parts Spring water and pour it into the tower.

MES - Water Mark!

This is what you should do.
Place the Fogger device into the tower.
Fill the water just past it and view the water indicator.
Most of the time you will not see the water because it is just below the indicator line.
Fill it a little more until you JUST see the water...when you do...MARK IT!
Now...add one more inch of water and MARK IT!

Keep the water between these two marks at all times.

NOTE:  Add a 'splash' of peroxide every time you add more water to the tower.  Wait 25 min. before using.

Plug the Air Pump and the USD (fogger) into the timer.
You will need to get an adaptor to both can be plugged into the same inlet (socket).

You will allow both to run for ATLEAST 1 minute ON and 3:00 hours OFF.
No more then 3 min. ON and 3:00 OFF.

If you are going to be adding mushroom CAKES to the chamber then...

Place 1" of Perlite to the bottom of the chamber.  Mix 1 part Peroxide to 10 parts Spring water (mix in a separate container) and pour it onto the Perlite.  Pour a little at a time ...you want to give the Perlite a chance to soak up the water and expand as much as possible.  You need to wait 1/2 hour to allow the Peroxide to complete the sterilizing process of the Perlite.

If you are going to be doing the Casing with colonized grain then...

Casing & MES....PERFECT COMBINATION!
