Peroxide (First Aid Isle)
1 gal. Spring Water
Bag of Perlite (Garden Isle)

Unpack your MES and lets get started!
First take everything out of your Tower and clean it out with soap and water.

Lower the USD, bottom down, to the center/bottom of the MES tower. |

Notice the 'notch' that you will be running the cord through. Then connect it to the power unit as you see here. |

Place the lid on gently until it is time to place water into the tower. |

If you have one chamber then, of course, ignore the info. regarding the 2nd Chamber. NOTE: Take a rubber band and some Reynolds Wrap and cover the unused outlet. It is designed to expand at your leisure. |

If you have one chamber then plug up the 2nd hole with some Saran wrap and a rubber band. It will still be there if you decide to 'double up' your growing space. |

Connect a small piece of tubing to the air pump. Notice: a small piece of tubing may be INSIDE the latex tubing. |

You can call around to a few Hardware stores
and check for a 3/8 inch Latex tubing if it did not make it with your MES.
We JUST added that to the tech. You would have to use a lighter and slightly
heat up the tubing and try to wedge it on. Needless to say it is difficult to do
and it will not stay as secure as we would like for our customers.

Take the other end of the latex tubing and connect them to the tower. |

Incase you have CAKES
(INSERT JARS) or would like to do the same casing tech. in
containers...you can place them on the shelf. (shelving not available
with the MES DELUXE KIT) You should have received four 2" screws for each shelf. Note the four small holes (2 each side) on your Growing Chamber. You are to screw the screws into the chamber. This will give your shelf something to set on. Place the shelf onto the four screws.

Mix 1 part Peroxide to 10 parts Spring water and pour it into the tower. Make close note of the sticker showing the water line level. Make sure you check the water level daily. It must stay at the correct level as much as possible in order for the MES to work properly. You MUST add a splash of Peroxide every time you level it and this can only be done after the MES has JUST FINISHED on of its 5 minute cycles.
Plug the Air Pump in 24/7
You will connect a timer to the USD (fogger) for and run for 5 minutes ON and 2:55 hours OFF.
So it is fogging for 5 min. every 3 hours but the hair flow is a constant.

If you are going to be adding mushroom CAKES to the chamber then... Place 1" of Perlite to the bottom of the chamber. Mix 1 part Peroxide to 10 parts Spring water (mix in a separate container) and pour it onto the Perlite. Pour a little at a time ...you want to give the Perlite a chance to soak up the water and expand as much as possible. You need to wait 1/2 hour to allow the Peroxide to complete the sterilizing process of the Perlite.
