How to make a spore syringe
Materials Needed:

Drinking glass
-
Clean wax paper
-
91% Alcohol
-
Fresh Mushroom
This is so simple you don't need to see pictures!

Get a fresh mushroom of your desired mushroom specie.

Carefully twist off the cup with one hand while holding the stem with the other.

Place the mushroom cap on wax paper that has been wiped with at least 91% alcohol (Place caps gills down).

Place the small glass over top...works like a humidity tent.

Put up for the next 24hr.
And that is all she wrote! The next day you can just lift off the glass and the mushroom cap. You should have a perfect, and beautiful, spore print! If you don't...don't sweat it. Chances are you have some on the wax paper that you just can't see.
At this point you can go ahead and scrape the spores with an Inoculation Loop or a sterilized knife into a prepared petri dish.
If you are looking to store the spore print for a lengthy time,
then carefully fold the paper in half (cut the paper if necessary) and place it
in a sandwich zip-lock bag. The spore prints can last about 5 years or
more...if kept clean and dry.
