Preparing the Glove Box
|
Affix the fan! When you initially receive your Glove Box you will have to hand-tighten the fan onto the frame of the Glove Box. Line it up as you see here.
Make sure that the label of the fan is facing into the
box. This will allow the air to be sucked into the Glove Box through
the Synthetic filter disc. Allow me to be PAINFULLY CLEAR about this...the fan should be on the INSIDE of the Glove Box and the label facing inward as well. This will allow the fan to PULL the air into the Glove Box...through the Synthetic filter disc. Next...fasten the screw nuts and bolts. The nuts should be on the OUTSIDE of the Glove Box. Hand tighten the wing nuts and place the cord of the fan over, and out, of the Glove Box.

Note: This is a very
important step.
To be on the
safe side, it is best to sterilize the Glove Box between each procedure.
The 71-99% Alcohol Method is as follows:
Spray
Alcohol in your Glove Box and wipe it down with a clean paper towel.
Make sure you clean the Plexiglas lid as well.
Clean all items that you will be placing into the Glove Box by wiping them with the rubbing alcohol.
Close the lid and plug in your Glove Box (fan).
Give the white filter two quick squirts from the outside of the box with alcohol.
Put on the Playtex Gloves and spray the gloves with alcohol and rub your hands
together just before placing
your hands into the Glove Box.
